Barry Town United's unbeaten run ended with a 3-0 defeat at Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City.
Captain Lauren Harris scored an early own goal as Stevie McCarthy Campbell's side slipped to their first defeat in six league outings.
A tough first half for the visitors at Leckwith saw Mikayla Cook's dangerous cross deflect off Harris at the far post to put the Bluebirds ahead after five minutes.
City doubled their lead on their own accord just three minutes later when Fiona Barry broke clear down the wing before her cross was poached in by Eliza Collie past Barry keeper Molly Arnesen.
Cardiff forward Barry pressed hard to get on the scoresheet and finally got her chance when she rifled in Kerry Walklett's throughball after 41 minutes.
The Bluebirds continued to grind out most of the chances in the second half, but Barry produced a much improved performance - with Arnesen in particular doing well to deny the likes of Eliza Collie and Lisa Owen.
Ellie Gunney came closest for the visitors but her effort was saved with ease by Cardiff keeper Ceryn Chamberlain.
Barry slip to fifth in the table as the league takes a three-week break for cup competitions, starting next Sunday with an Adran Trophy clash against Flint Town United at Jenner Park.
