Barry Town United are through to the semi finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup following a 3-2 victory at home to Cymru Premier leaders Penybont.
Two goals from top scorer Ollie Hulbert and a third from sub Kayne McLaggon ensured Steve Jenkins' men are just a game away from another showpiece.
Victory was especially sweet for Barry, who bounced back from their early exit in the Welsh Cup by avenging their league defeat against their Five Mile Lane rivals earlier this month.
Jenkins rang the changes again as Evan Press regained the captain's armband, while McLaggon was dropped to the bench despite scoring in their cup defeat to Caerau Ely.
Hulbert returned to the starting XI along with Robbie Willmott and Ieuan Owen, while Sam Snaith returned to the bench and Josh Beecher was dropped altogether.
A further late change in time for a slightly belated kick off at Jenner Park when Luc Rees replaced keeper Liam Armstrong.
Barry found themselves trailing after five minutes when Gabe Kircough broke the deadlock for the visitors.
A flurry of chances for the hosts followed with Mike Lewis - on his return to Jenner - denying Harrison Bright's effort from the edge of the box, while Keenan Patten's shot at distance flew wide of the post.
At the other end, a setpiece from Owen Pritchard was headed onto the cross bar by James Crole.
But the hosts drew level on 34 minutes, when Penybont were caught out by a long throw in, which was duly smashed into the top of the net by Hulbert at close range.
Bright looked to put Barry ahead shortly afterwards when his curled shot was tipped over the bar by Lewis, but just before half time, his cross into the box was headed by Hulbert, before Lewis spilled the ball into the net for the striker's 11th goal in all competition this season - and his third in the league cup.
After the break, the Barry defence continuously made life difficult for Rhys Griffiths' side, particularly James Crole, while a goalmouth scramble saw Lewis deny Ieuan Owen and Patten's follow-up header from 12 yards out going wide.
Crole eventually broke the resistance by restoring parity for Penybont on 78 minutes - but Barry responded again just two minutes later, when some fine build-up from Willmott and Hulbert paved the way for McLaggon to volley home at the back post for his second goal in as many games.
The draw for the semis can be seen on the FAW's RedWall Plus channel at 8pm on Monday night.
Meanwhile, Barry resume their Cymru Premier campaign away at Flint Town United on Saturday as attention turns to retaining their place in the top half of the table.
