Barry Town United are out of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup after a 4-0 defeat to holders Cardiff City.
Barry's hopes of reaching the semi finals were dashed as they came unstuck against a clincial performance from the Adran Premier leaders.
Stevie McCarthy Campbell's side were last in action nearly five weeks ago when they were beaten 3-1 by the Bluebirds in the league at Jenner Park.
And it was City who went ahead after just 11 minutes when Fiona Barry struck to beat keeper Mackenzie Ellingham from distance via Ffion Price's cross.
But Barry caused problems for the cup holders as Keira Harris saw two efforts go narrowly wide while Erin Murray and Ingrid Adland were both denied by Ceryn Chamberlain.
But Cardiff went 2-0 up on 64 minutes when the returning Mackenzie Olden set up Molly Kehoe to curl home from the edge of the area past Ellingham.
Former Barry striker Olden then scored against her former club just five minutes later, when Ellingham spilled Price's set up before tapping in from close range to mark her return after a 14-month lay-off with an ACL injury.
Cardiff had secured a tenth straight win over Barry in all competition - and it fell to substitute Laura Curnock to add a fourth on 83 minutes as the visitors struggled to find an answer.
Barry turn their attention back to the Adran Premier next Sunday when they face Briton Ferry Llansawel in their final game before the league splits for the remainder of the season.
Barry are already destined for another season in the Plate Conference, alongside Wrexham, Aberystwyth Town and Cardiff Met.
