Ely Rangers have qualified for this season's JD Welsh Cup after a 5-2 win over Treforest.
The Wenvoe club, who play in the South Wales Alliance League, are the only lower league club from the Vale to reach the first round proper of this season's competition.
Rangers went 2-0 up within 14 minutes thanks to goals from Richard Greaves and Alex Long, before Simon Gardner hit back for the visitors at Station Road.
But Ely extended their lead by half time with two further goals coming from Morgan Ashworth and Oliver Bradley by half time.
Kieran Phillips replied five minutes after the break, but the hosts put the tie beyond doubt when Long struck his brace just before the hour mark.

There was last-gasp heartache for Cardiff Airport, whose hopes of another lengthy cup run were dashed in a 4-3 defeat at Ynysygerwn.
Airport, who reached the third round last season, found themselves trailing within a minute as Adam Rees struck early for the hosts.
Allister Davies made it two on 25 minutes, spurring the visitors to respond via Joey Morelli on 29 minutes and Theo Richards after a lengthy spell of added time at the end of the first half.
Joe Humphries put Ynysygerwn back in front on 69 minutes, before Morrelli drew level again in the 88th minute.
But with penalties on the horizon, Ethan Wright struck in the 97th minute to kill off Airport's cup dreams.
There was also disappointment for Holton Road, who went down 6-3 to Gwent County League club Pill.
The Barry side were 4-0 down by half time following a quick hattrick from Taylor Street and a goal from Luc Noble.
But the hosts found a response after the break via Shaun Jachontow (52') and a Bradley O'Loughlin penalty on the hour mark.
Pill reacted by extending their lead through a Taylor Street penalty and a Niall Simmons strike - and although Holton had the last word with a consolation goal for Josh Bell in the 91st minute.

Cardiff Bay Warriors also qualified for the cup following a 7-3 win at home to Cwrt Rawlin - with four goals for Alkasim Aden, a brace for Abdurazaq Yusuf and a Hamsa Mohamed goal. Jack Harvey (2) and James Harvey replied for the visitors.
The Warriors, made up of mostly Somali players, recently returned from Canada after winning an international tournament for Somali communities.
The draw for the Welsh Cup first round will be revealed at 8pm on Wednesday, streamed via the FAW's RedWall Plus channel.
