Llantwit Major goalkeeper Jack Lansdown has announced he'll retire at the end of the season.
The veteran has made more than 400 appearances for the club and won four league championships - including, most recently, the 2021-22 Cymru South title.
In recent years, he's also represented Llantwit at European level, playing for the club in the Fenix Trophy and for the league in the UEFA Regions Cup.
Lansdown will retire from football following the club's final game of the season - away at Cwmbran Celtic - on Saturday 12th April.
The club says it's planning to pay suitable tribute to his service for Major in due course.
A spokesperson for Llantwit Major FC said: "Jack has represented the Major over 400 times and won every division we played in."
"He has always worn the shirt with pride, dedication and passion - even when it had a fish, dinosaur or Mr Blobby on it!"
"The impact Jack has had on our club cannot be expressed in words alone, and we will be eternally grateful for everything he has given us over the past two decades, from lifting the Cymru South title, a certain penalty save, heroic saves in our European triumph over BK Skjold and countless more moments over the years."
They added: "We encourage all of our supporters to make the effort to support Jack over the final few games of his career and give him the thanks he deserves."
"The Windmill will be a very different (and quieter!) place without him on the field, but we are sure he will take his place amongst the Windmill Army."
Llantwit have four games of the season to go, starting away at Cambrian United on Friday 21st March.
