Bro Radio has partnered for the fifth year with Mack Events to search for two acts to perform at this years GlastonBarry Juniors!

Taking place the day before GlastonBarry, GlastonBarry Juniors is an opportunity for all the family to enjoy the festival experience, with tributes to Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Harry Styles, alongside rides & stalls, live magic, gaming zone and the New Wave Wrestling Academy.

The competition will one again look for two winners, one English and one Welsh- with the addition of Seren Y Fro! 

Do you know a young person aged 8 to 18, who's a talented singer, rapper or musician in either English or Welsh? If so, we want to give them the chance to be seen on stage with Search for a Star.

We've put together a panel of judges, made up of event organisers, radio presenters, local business people and musicians, who will watch all submissions and choose a final four in each category, to perform at a live final on Saturday 10th May 2025.

Two young people will be chosen to perform at GlastonBarry Juniors Music Festival in July, with all eight finalists given a family ticket to enjoy the event.

Terms and conditions

• All entrants must be between 8 and 18 and from the South Wales area.
• Entrants must be available on Saturday 10th May 2025 and on Friday 25th July.
• All entrants will receive a free ticket to attend GlastonBarry Juniors Live Family Festival.
• Entry closes at 23:59 on Sunday 6th April 2025. Any submissions after this time may not be considered.
• Finalists will be contacted no later than 2 weeks before the live final on May Bank Holiday weekend.
