Draws announced for Women's and Youth Cups

4th October 2021

The draw's been made for the second round of the FAW Women's Cup.

Barry Town United are at home to Swansea University in the last 16 of the competition, after the Adran Premier club beat Merthyr Town 8-1 on Sunday - with four goals for Grace O'Reilly.

Their next opponents, who play in the Adran South, booked their place in round two with an 11-1 win over Penclawdd.

The rest of the southern half of the draw sees Cardiff City drawn away at The New Saints and Cardiff Met travel to Cascade YC.

Cardiff Wanderers are drawn at home to the winners of the first round tie between Coed Duon and Swansea City.

Ties are due to be played on Sunday 17th October.

Meanwhile, the men's development team at Jenner Park will need to wait to find out their opponents in the quarter finals of the FAW Youth Cup.

After a goalless draw on Sunday, Barry won 6-5 on penalties against Aberystwyth Town on Sunday.

They'll now meet either Buckley Town or Flint Town United at home in the last eight.

Penybont are away at Briton Ferry Llansawel and Garw SBGC will be the visitors at Caerau Ely or Taffs Well.

The quarter finals are due to be played on Sunday 24th October.
