Report: Barry Town United 1-1 Caernarfon Town

BY: Jacob Chick

Kayne McLaggon had his good shot pushed over the bar by the Caernarfon Town keeper. The resulting corner came to nothing.

Mo Touray saw his shot curl agonisingly wide around 20 minutes in as the game stayed scoreless.

Rhys Abbruzzese had two great chances denied once by a good save from the Caernarfon Town goalie and again by the crossbar.

Mike Lewis was called into action for the first time and produced a fantastic save. He also collected the corner.

Caernarfon looked on top for the final 10 minutes of the first half with Jamie Breese missing the best chance of the half for them in extra time.

GOAL! Mo Touray pounced on a bad back pass before rounding the keeper and putting the ball in the back of the net! 1-0 Barry Town United

Darren Thomas leveled the score on Caernarfon’s first shot after the Barry Town goal. 1-1 it looked like game on.

The game started to die down after the goal and with only a few half chances at either end the game ran out of time with no team coming away from the game better.
