With the Cymru Leagues taking a mini-break, the lower end of the Welsh football pyramid was able to take centre stage.
Dinas Powys' mixed form has seen them slip to tenth in the local Ardal league - with the first team only returning to action this weekend following a COVID outbreak.
But when the league leaders visited the Murch, Dinas would prove more than a match, despite trailing to goals from Callum Wright and Ryan Morris.
It looked like the flow of the game would ebb towards Ynysyerwn, particularly when Ben Stewart was shown a straight red for the hosts.
But ten-man fought back with Luke Garland finding a reply on 39 minutes and Gareth Woodman drawing level seven minutes after the break.
Morris' brace put the visitors back in front on 77 minutes, only for Anthony Boulaiche to equalise with six minutes to go.
But James Newell had the last word in a dramatic encounter, grabbing an 86th minute winner for Ynysygerwn, who remain top of the table on goal difference.

Darren Townsend replied for Rangers on 53 minutes but Ryan Hughes' effort would sow up the points for United.
Both sides ended the game with ten men, after Ely's Jonathan Sparkes and United's Ryan Cross were shown straight red cards late on.
Cardiff Airport's nine-game unbeaten run stretched back to mid-August - but it finally ended at the hands of Tonyrefail.
