We're handing Bro Radio over to our Community this Christmas Day from 1pm - 4pm. We'll have no presenters, just messages from our local community.

We're looking for messages from ex-pats to friends and family at home, as well as from local organisations, businesses and groups who are providing help, support and encouragement, during what can be a difficult time for many.

To take part, we need you to record a message of up to 90 seconds and send it to us no later than 5pm on Monday 23rd December 2024.

Here are two example scripts to help you out:

Individual: "Hello, I'm <Name> and you're listening to Voices of the Vale on Bro Radio. I'm <Tell us about you/where you live/what you're doing at Christmas/who you're thinking about/who you're missing at home etc>. Thanks for listening and my song to play on Christmas day is....<song choice>

Organisation: "Hello, I'm <Name> from <organisation>. We <Tell us about your organisation/ how you're supporting local people / a message of positivity, encouragement or support / how people can get in touch with you.> Thanks for listening and my song to play on Christmas day is .... <song choice>

Once you've recorded your message, email it to production@broradio.fm or WhatsApp 01446318007 and we'll get in touch to confirm when you're message will be played on Christmas day.
