A new look departure lounge will greet passengers at Cardiff Airport.
Two new bars and restaurants have been added at the Rhoose airport to serve holidaymakers and business travellers as part of an investment by operators SSP UK and Ireland.
Y Castell serves a "curated menu focused on traditional Welsh flavours" made with locally-sourced ingredients while Tap & Brew serves up Welsh beverages and other premium local brands, along with gourmet hot dogs.
Airport bosses say it's being a strong start to the summer season - despite the loss of a direct route to Paris Orly in March.
Ryanair added flights to Alicante and Tenerife over Easter with Play Airlines due to launch direct flights to Iceland on a temporary basis in October.
Spencer Birns, Cardiff Airport chief executive, said: "Thank you to our teams who having been working hard behind the scenes to improve customer experience throughout the airport."
"We look forward to our passengers enjoying the improved facilities before they head off on their travels from Cardiff Wales Airport."
To mark the official opening of the new outlets, Llantrisant Male Voice Choir treated both passengers and staff to some classic Welsh hymns.
Cathy Granby, SSI business development director, added: "Opening Y Castell and Tap and Brew is a significant development in our offering at Cardiff Wales Airport."
"Y Castell is the only one of its kind as part of our focus on offering local hospitality at key locations across the UK. Along with Tap and Brew, we now offer something for everyone and a final taste of Wales before they fly."
